I’ve never heard anything weird, but I have heard my boss talking about me to my coworkers, talk about pain. :upside_down_face:

Recently, I was asked to come in an extra day to really focus on a project that needed to get done. I knew the boss was coming, but wasn’t sure when.

Then, right outside my open office door, I hear this gem:

“Promote Sally? She’s… fine. Just does her work. Not really the type we need to fire, but not really the type we need to promote.”

Maybe I am just fine. But to have that conversation basically in my earshot? Isane.

I would much prefer overhearing something fun than this, did you ever confront them or just kept it to yourself?
