What would you actually say if HR wasn’t watching?

I’m 50, been in offices since the fax machine days, and I’ve had just about enough of pretending everything’s fine when it’s clearly not. At this point, I’ve sat through every trust-building exercise, every mandatory training about “tone,” and every passive-aggressive “feedback session” where you’re expected to smile while someone tells you to work harder for less. What would you actually tell your boss if you didn’t have to worry about a follow-up meeting? What would you post in Slack if you knew it wouldn’t get flagged as “not aligned with company values”?

Let’s be honest for once.
