My boss denies everyone’s PTO even if they have the time, most of the time there’s no reason for it. No one else at my works makes it seem like it’s a big deal to them. Our PTO doesn’t even roll over.
If PTO doesn’t roll over and you’re not allowed to use it, that’s not a policy, that’s theft with extra steps. I’d start documenting every denied request just in case you need to escalate. And maybe casually send them a link to the labor laws with a
