I wish I would’ve asked how many employees had held the position I was getting hired before I accepted it. Sometimes turnover rate has nothing to do with the company but most of the time it does. Can you ask that in an interview?
I would. an interview is like dating, you gotta ask the hard questions to make sure theyre a good fit

A less motive-obvious question might be, why is this position vacant? And then let them tell you and ask follow up questions from there.
